How long before instagram looses its cool?
With the 150 Million users under instagram's belt they're saying its time to turn them into revenue.
Instagram recently announced that the company has grown from 100M to 150M active users monthly in just six months.These numbers without a doubt boast of how popular instagram is. Its reported that instagram has 55 millions photos shared and 2 billion likes per day.
Rumours have surfaced before, but it seems now that with this notch in numbers under their belt, instagram will be now selling ads real soon. This then raises the question with the addition of ads will instagram still be as cool as it is now. Ads are a great source of income no doubt, but it does take away from the clean flow and over all likeability of the app. I am interested to see how IG will include ads into things and ultimately if IG can remain as popular with them.
