As we get closer to the last quarter of the year, we get ready for the last and arguably most anticipated releases of the year. One of them being the Sony's Play Station 4.
Technical specs:
So lets get straight to it; here is what you need to know.
Price & Release date:
Come November 15, The PS4 will go on sale in the US region and at a very reasonable price in my opinion of $399. The European Region won't be getting theirs until November 29, and will be available for £349.

Technical specs:
-As expected the PS4 will come with some exceptional hardware. Its CPU consists of eight x86-64 Jaguar processor developed by AMD & Sony that clocks out at 2.75 GHz MAX.
-The console comes with 8GB of GDDR5 of RAM (16 x more RAM than the PS3).
-A 500GB hard drive is built in of course.
-It's optical drive is a BD 6xCAVDVD 8xCAV. For those who don't know it is capable of reading disk Blu ray disks up to three times faster than the PS3.
-Connectivity capabilities include 802.11 b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth 2.1, USB 3.0 and AUXEthernet 10/100/1000.
-The digital output consist of HDMI (1080p and 4k) and S/PDIF, with a semi custom AMD Radeon GPU.
Key Hardware:
One of the key hardware pieces of the PS4 is the DualShock 4 controller. The new controller comes with the most significant change yet. It comes with a two point touch pad on the front. Another new and very interesting feature is the motion detection sensor. This along with the camera can detect which side of the television you're sitting on in a multi-player situation and switch the screen side.

The PlayStation 4 camera as previously stated is now a motion detecting device. Its equipped with two 1280x800px cameras and have a 85 degree field of view. Also new to the camera is a four-channel microphone array that will allow for voice recognition features.
Another new goody added to the PS4 is the PlayGo feature. For those that always hated downloading a game and waiting for it to complete to play; the wait is over. You can now begin to play after a portion of the game data is onto the system. The rest will download while you play. For those that prefer playing from the disk, data will be transferred directly to the hard drive to reduce loading time. And yes this feature does include system updates as well. So waiting time is decreased, playing and socializing time is increased.
For those of us that has had to stop playing for whatever reason, we now have a suspend mode. This will enter the PS4 into a low power state and suspend the game instead of terminating.
Finally there will be no backwards compatibility for PS3 games. But there are rumored talks about a cloud based service coming on stream that will emulate previous PlayStation games and make them available to the PS4 and Vita over the Internet.
