What you need to know: XboxOne
If there is a PlayStation 4 then there is surely a new Xbox right behind it. Microsoft's new flagship console will be the Xbox One.
Price & Release date:
Xbox One is set to be released for sale one November 22, 2013 in all regions. The price however is a bit steeper than the competition (meaning PS4). Coming in at $499 in the US and £429 in the UK.
Technical Specs:
-Here's what's under the Xbox's hood. The processor is a 8 core X86-64 that clocks in at 1.75 GHz. It's custom built from the AMD Jaguar platform.
-In terms of memory, it has 8 GB of DDR3 ram accompanied by 32 MB ESRAM for simultaneous read and write options.
-It has a fair share of storage capacity in the 500GB internal hard drive.
-The optical drive will of course play Blu Ray and DVD.
-An AMD Radeon 853 MHz powers the Xbox's Graphics.
-Connectivity capabilities include 3 USB 3.0 ports. A HDMI 1.4 output and 802.11n Wireless with WiFi Direct.
-Digital output is 7.1 surround sound and 4k resolution
Key Hardware
The design of the controller remains similar to that of its predecessor. However there are a few alterations. The directional pad has been changed to a traditional 4 way design. The start and back button is now replaced with Menu and View, and each trigger will have what is called impulse triggering which allows independent or combined vibrations for different situations.
The Kinect too comes with some upgrades. A 1080p camera as opposed to the VGA of the previous. The accuracy has been improved. Up to 6 figures can be tracked, perform heart rate tracking, track the controllers movements and finally scan QR codes.

-Some nice features are its 3 operating systems. Xbox OS, a windows based OS and a separate one to allow communication between the two.
-Xbox SmartGlass is back and is said to provide extended functionality for the Xbox One.
-Voice Control is back and is more advanced than ever. The new voice command function will allow for Skyping.
-Multitasking is coming to the Xbox One and in a similar form to Windows 8. The ability to snap apps such as Skype, Music Videos, etc to the side for another to use another.
Finally you Xbox one will be able to serve as a portal for your existing set-top box. That means users will be able to watch live TV through the Xbox with added features like recommendations and an electronic program guide.
